GlasGLOW 2019 at Botanic Gardens

GlasGLOW returns to the Glasgow Botanic Gardens this Halloween!

After a sell-out success and 75,000 people enjoying the spectacle last year, the GlasGLOW team are already hard at work on GlasGLOW 2: an incredible feat of illumination, amazing soundscapes and storytelling.

Dive into the imaginations of the world’s leading light and sound experts and explore the gardens as each world transports you to another dimension.

Expect a magical 60-minute journey that’s bigger, better and more interactive than ever before; a street food village; and a seriously impressive bar to cosy up with a drink and an unparalleled view.

GlasGLOW will come to life between October 25 and November 3 with a brand-new show, an even more interactive journey, and a longer route. The nine world’s/dimensions featured will be;

World One – Arcade: Ready Player One
World Two – Area G12: We are not alone
World Three – Marshmallowland: S’more than you ever dreamed
World Four – The Patch: Pay respect to the Pumpkin God
World Five – The Lair: Your Brexit’s on fire
World Six – Wunderbar: The bar with a million lights
World Seven – The Party Palace: D.A.N.C.E
World Eight – X: If you go down to the woods today
World Nine – The Zombie Tearoom: Drop dead delicious

Byres Road – The heart and soul of Glasgow’s West End

A visit to Byres Road during the day is a completely distinct experience than by night, and that’s why we love it so much. Byres Road can reinvent itself like no other street in Glasgow with such ease.
