Halloween is the ultimate in eerie experiences.  Haunted castles, creepy woodland walks, unearthly ghost tales and spooky encounters – Glasgow with its long-held traditions delivers an authentic Halloween experience unlike any other.  However you like to mark All Hallows’ Eve you’ll find something to suit your fancy just a few minutes from the Embassy Apartments. Glasgow Horror Fest

This now spooktacular annual event takes place at the Classic Grand in buzzing Charing Cross. The festival is spread across two days – 27th and 28th October, and will be showing spooky, iconic movie classics in conjunction with Popcorn Horror, as well as ghoulish twisted shorts to make you scream. The fun continues though! Join the hosts as they lead you into STEREO’s boiler room on October 27th for a night of silent film screenings, dancing and DJ sets. Produced with the help of Scare Scotland, this evening’s entertainment could turn out to be more than a little strange.  In addition, there’s a bunch of alternative horror jaunts on the bill with Big Puppet Theatre Co. Putting on an uncanny live theatre double-bill of terror, and talented makeup artist Taarna Swanson giving you an inside view of how these gory effect looks are put together.


Maximum Pressure Halloween 

Sold-out for three years running, Maximum Pressure Halloween at one of Glasgow’s hottest all-night party spots – SWG3 – returns in 2018. The full list of performers is yet to be announced but Slam have already been announced as headliners. If you’re into Slam you’ll know to expect bass-heavy, mind bending beats. Combine that with a few hundred party-goers jam packed into the warehouse location and you’re in for an exciting night!

Forget Me Not Halloween Ball

If you would enjoy a top-quality night out that won’t finish too late and lets you to do your bit for charity, then grab some friends and get to the Forget Me Not Ball at the Marriott Hotel. This dazzling event will deliver fantastic entertainment, a three-course meal, and sparkling drinks reception all included in the ticket price.  It’s definitely going to be a night to remember, the greatest part is that all proceeds go directly to the charity Alzheimer Scotland to assist them to carry on their fabulous work with those living with the disease!

Session Victim Live at Berkley Suite

Recommended is an appearance by DJ Deeon who comes to Glasgow’s Berkeley Suite on 25th August. DJ Deeon’s journey began in Chicago playing house parties in the projects. Heavily influenced by classic Chicago house and Detroit techno, DJ Deeon developed a unique sound with very erotic lyrics which went on to become known as Ghetto House.
